Costa Blanca

From Alicante

Take the A7 motorway heading toward Murcia. The A7 by-passes Torrevieja but there are tolls here. If you want to avoid the toll charges, leave the motorway at the turn off for Ciudad Quesada (signposted 'Torrevieja Norte'). Head down the CV 905 between the two salt lakes. As you drive down this road, you will go around several roundabouts. There are very few buildings on this road until you reach the outskirts of Torrevieja. You will eventually come to a built up area. This is a commercial centre where there are stores, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. You will also pass a MacDonald's. Watch out for two roundabouts close together, one after the other. The second has a large triangular structure on it (it's hard to miss since it dominates your view as you approach the roundabout). There is also a petrol station at this roundabout on the right. You need to take the left exit to pick up the N-332 coast road. The N-332 is not very well signposted but you will see a sign for Cartagena pointing you in the direction you need to go. Take the N-332 heading south. As you leave Torrevieja, you will enter the Orihuela Costas area, though you might not notice much difference. As you head out of Torrevieja on the N-332, the Punta Prima roundabout is the first on you will encounter (watch out for a hotel with a large letter 'H' on top of it). From this point on, follow the directions below 'At Punta Prima'.

Orihuela

From Murcia

Murcia airport is actually on the coast nearer to San Javier. Follow signs for the AP-7 from the airport. Take the AP-7 motorway headed toward Alicante. Stay on the AP-7 until you reach junction 768 signposted Campoamor. As you exit from this junction, the slip road will take you directly onto a roundabout. Keep following the direction for Campoamor until you reach the next roundabout (this is only a few hundred metres from the last one). At this roundabout, stop following the signs for Campoamor. You can now pick up the N-332 from here, signposted for Alicante. When you are on the N-332, the road takes you down a hill then back up as it takes you into the Orihuela Costas area. Carry straight on (around several roundabouts), keep an eye out for the Carrefour supermarket on your left. To turn up the street after the Carrefour Supermarket, you need to go to the next roundabout and double back on yourself as you can be fined for crossing a double white line in the road. Carry on to the next roundabout (Punta Prima) and come back.

At Punta Prima

As you exit the Punta Prima roundabout heading South on the N332, you will immediately pass under a footbridge that crosses the road. Right after the footbridge there is an entrance to an access road that runs parallel to the N332 on the right. This road provides access to car parks for shops and a couple of banks that are set back from the road here. You need to turn right at the next junction. The Carrefour supermarket is on the corner here. The villa is on an urbanisation right behind the supermarket.
